Fête de la truffe in Uzès
The first mentions of the black truffles of the Pays d’Uzès date back to the time of Nostradamus. The place that the black diamond still holds has never since faded. Every year, you can expect a lot of fanfare from local truffle markets, gastronomic dining experiences with Michelin-starred chefs, as well as special truffle menus and workshops (including ours!).
Uzès truffle season lasts from mid-November till mid-March.
To celebrate the truffe season which commenced in Mid-November you will find on the place de l’évêché every Friday till March 16th a truffle sale

La Soirée vigneronne – takes place on the opening night of the Truffle weekend. Tasting of the wines of the AOP Duché d’Uzès along with a buffet around the truffles will take place in the Salle de l’Évéché in Uzès. Reservations are a must!

La Soirée de gala – A festive evenings celebrating the black truffles of le Pays d’Uzès. Michelin-starred chefs of the Gard department have been invited to concoct an unforgettable meal all based on the black truffle. from 19:30.
