This year we’ve introduced at Cook’n with Class Uzès, 4 new French cooking classes in Uzès with chef Eric and some other changes to get you into the kitchen.
Come sharpen your skills in the kitchen and pick up some new recipes to try at home. These and our most popular classes of the seasons before, are all great fun for any food and wine lover.
There are basics in the kitchen that will make cooking fun, efficient, delicious. That’s the premise of the French cooking classes including in our Kitchen fundamentals series: Knife skills, Sauce making, and dough making classes have been added to our course schedule. While these classes can be taken separately, you can also take them as a package and save.
French Bistro Cooking Class
For those of you already familiar with the markets in and around Uzès or if you’re looking for a simple cooking class without the shopping tour, this class is for you. You’ll still be preparing a 3-course meal that you will sit down and enjoy with a glass of wine. A lovely way to spend a half-day in Uzès. Classes start March 16th and will be offered about once a month.

Provençal Desserts Class
In our new Provençal desserts class, you’ll be making 3 delicious desserts + 1 suprise dessert always using fresh and seasonal ingredients inspired by Provence and the south of France. The class is 2.5 hours and is now at 80€/adult and 70€/child.

Join us for our 3-day Bread Master Class
We will start off at the market, selecting the freshest fish & seafood. No need to be afraid of fish. We’ll assist you to create the perfect fish stock, bouillabaisse and other Mediterranean fish recipes in a very hands-on French cooking class experience.
With a good base, you can make a great stock. In this class, you will learn all about the mother sauces. You will make stocks, sauces for meat, fish, & vegetables. From this base of mother sauces, you will be able to make countless variations.
Become more proficient in the kitchen by improving your knife skills. This class will help you become more at ease with your knife. We will be chopping, mincing, dicing, filleting and deboning fish, poultry, & fruits and vegetables. Light lunch is included.
Pâte brisée, pâte sablé, pâte feuillété, pâte sucré, and more. This class will take you through the basics of French pastry dough making. Learn how to consistently make the perfect dough. Savory & sweet doughs, as well as a basic bread dough, are included.
