Gluten-free bread making with Marjorie Jego
Some of you may know Marjorie (Marjo), for her energetic Zumba & strong lessons. Being French, Marjo was a longtime bread lover. But due to her own personal battle with breast cancer which she feels strongly was linked to the way she ate, she decided to eliminate lactose and gluten from her diet. For several years now, Marjo has been perfecting her bread recipe to create the perfect gluten-free bread for those who by choice or necessity to enjoy delicious bread without worry. Nothing like a challenge to motivate a fighter! Now in prime form and with the struggle thankfully behind her, she’s ready to share what she’s learned about gluten-free bread making with you.
As a special guest of Chef Eric Fraudeau of Cook’n With Class Uzès, Marjo is offering her first gluten-free bread making workshop at our school. Join her Sunday, March 31st from 3 PM to 6 PM for a hands-on gluten-free bread class. The class is limited to 8 participants maximum. You’ll leave with the recipes you’ve made and, of course, you will taste the bread in class.
This is a class for anyone who personally is looking for ways to enjoy bread without the worry of gluten intoxication or for those who have themselves have or have loved ones who have chosen to eliminate gluten from their diets.

If you’d like to partake a regular bread making course, come discover our 3-day bread making workshop in Uzès with chef Eric.
We will start off at the market, selecting the freshest fish & seafood. No need to be afraid of fish. We’ll assist you to create the perfect fish stock, bouillabaisse and other Mediterranean fish recipes in a very hands-on French cooking class experience.
With a good base, you can make a great stock. In this class, you will learn all about the mother sauces. You will make stocks, sauces for meat, fish, & vegetables. From this base of mother sauces, you will be able to make countless variations.
Become more proficient in the kitchen by improving your knife skills. This class will help you become more at ease with your knife. We will be chopping, mincing, dicing, filleting and deboning fish, poultry, & fruits and vegetables. Light lunch is included.
Pâte brisée, pâte sablé, pâte feuillété, pâte sucré, and more. This class will take you through the basics of French pastry dough making. Learn how to consistently make the perfect dough. Savory & sweet doughs, as well as a basic bread dough, are included.
