They say that the French spend more time than any other nationality eating. While the two-hour lunch is a thing of the past for most working people in France, mealtime is still considered sacred. We’ll start our class directly in our cooking school for a 4-hour hands-on cooking lesson led by chef Eric Fraudeau.

In our French bistro cooking class, you will prepare a 3-course lunch from the fresh seasonal ingredients highlighted the best of the season.

This is a hands-on learning experience, no shortcuts allowed. You will participate as much as you like in the preparation of your lunch menu with your fellow classmates.

After the cooking, we’ll sit down to enjoy the fruits of your labor over a glass of wine. And don’t worry, we won’t forget the cheese.

You will prepare an appetizer, a main-course, and dessert. The menu will include classic French dishes with a modern twist.

The changing seasons and the fresh fruits and vegetables available at our local market will determine the class menu. below is the proposed menu for the months of June 2019.

Apéro: Parmesan sablé, Steak Tartar

Spring Vegetables Salad, Poached Salmon, Bearnaise sauce
Salade de légume printanière, saumon poché, bernaise
