Learn the art of French Mediterranean & Provencal cuisine with a French cooking class at Cook’n With Class Uzès. Chef Eric Fraudeau shares his years of experience in fun, informative classes offering great food, wine and culinary techniques in Provence. With market visits, French wine & French cheese tasting and hands-on cookery classes including French Dessert making, you will be sure to take away from your visit to France and the Uzège (known fondly as the Gard-Provencal), long-lasting memories and wonderful recipes.
Our French cooking classes in Provence are kept small so that each student can have a hands-on experience with the attention of the chef to guide you and answer your questions. Be prepared to be entertained as chef Eric animates his class to bring fun into the learning experience.
Generosity is our motto and hospitality is our forte. All our classes include a traditional French apéritif. Our classes run from 2-6 hours. Discounts are offered after your first class with us at either our Uzès school or in Paris.

We will start off at the market, selecting the freshest fish & seafood. No need to be afraid of fish. We’ll assist you to create the perfect fish stock, bouillabaisse and other Mediterranean fish recipes in a very hands-on French cooking class experience.BOOK NOW
With a good base, you can make a great stock. In this class, you will learn all about the mother sauces. You will make stocks, sauces for meat, fish, & vegetables. From this base of mother sauces, you will be able to make countless variations.
Become more proficient in the kitchen by improving your knife skills. This class will help you become more at ease with your knife. We will be chopping, mincing, dicing, filleting and deboning fish, poultry, & fruits and vegetables. Light lunch is included.
Pâte brisée, pâte sablé, pâte feuillété, pâte sucré, and more. This class will take you through the basics of French pastry dough making. Learn how to consistently make the perfect dough. Savory & sweet doughs, as well as a basic bread dough, are included.
